Associate Director of Arts & Culture
This full-time, permanent post is available from 1st November 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The role of the Associate Director of Arts & Culture is to lead and manage the implementation of an integrated approach to arts and culture in support of the University’s Arts and Culture Strategy in close collaboration with the Academic Lead for Arts & Culture. They will work across the institution to co-ordinate and curate an innovative, diverse and attractive year-round programme of high-quality creative arts and culture programmes. There is currently a considerable amount of arts and culture activity taking place at the University but it is not sufficiently coordinated to maximise the benefits for students, staff, our partners, arts organisations or to enhance the University’s reputation.
University of Exeter is seeking to appoint a charismatic individual with considerable experience of strategic planning and promotion of integrated arts programmes; and expertise in commissioning, fundraising, promoting and managing world-class initiatives in arts and culture contexts.
