The University of Hertfordshire is looking to appoint an outstanding and ambitious individual as Dean of the School of Creative Arts.

The post holder will be an outstanding individual with a proven track record of leadership and academic credibility in one or more discipline areas within the School. The person will also be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the key strategic goals of the University, as well as understanding the creative economy, employability and social engagement relevant to HE and experience and understanding of relevant accredited bodies and key financial procedures.

Applicants are invited to note the range and strengths within the current academic portfolio which includes visual arts, design, media production and music composition and technology. In particular, the School has substantial provision in the areas of animation, games, film and television production as well as a relatively new course in architecture, which runs alongside the well-established course in interior architecture.
