The successful candidate will sit as No.3 in the Cello section, sitting up to No.2 as required and may also be required to lead the section.

Essential skills

  • Highly reputable classical music training

  • Self-motivated, reliable and able to work under pressure
  • Ability to work co-operatively as part of a team
  • Willing and able to work co-operatively and to develop positive working relationships with other members of the orchestra and the management / administrative team
  • Respect for others demonstrated by being fully prepared to play at the start of every session
  • Ability to understand and to speak English
