Marble City Sessions: Festival Finale @ Kilkenny Arts Festival

Sunday, 20 August 2017, 7.30pm

Hosted by the incomparable Martin Hayes, the Festival Finale brings together a wealth of musicians from all over the world whose playful approach to tradition has won them international acclaim. This year’s typically mouthwatering line-up sees Mongolian rockers Hanggai sharing the stage with poets Paula Meehan and Paul Muldoon, sean nós singer Nell Ní Chroninin, The Gloaming’s Iarla Ó Lionaird and Dennis Cahill, Swedish folk innovators Väsen, the genre-hopping Aoife Ní Bhriain, Crash Ensemble’s Kate Ellis, Irish-turned-contemporary dancer Colin Dunne and master organist Malcolm Proud in a rousing celebration of our shared artistic heritage and the tango of tradition and talent.
