Morgan MacIntyre and Gemma Doherty formed Saint Sister less than three years ago, but their rise has been nothing short of spectacular, courtesy of a widely acclaimed debut EP and eye-catching appearances on RTÉ’s Other Voices and at major festivals all over the world. Their original sound, an enthralling mix of soulful harmonies, dreamy synth and electro-acoustic harp, is rightly dubbed ‘atmosfolk’, and their Kilkenny debut in the Set promises to be one of the most enchanting gigs at this year’s Festival.
