From Bach to Beyoncé, masters of the guitar - Shane Hennessy and John Walsh will take you on a cultural journey, an amazing guitar showcase from flamenco to jazz, classical to funk, roots to blues.

Shane Hennessy is an Irish virtuoso guitarist and composer, whose unique approach to the acoustic guitar has amazed audiences all over the world. His playing style and compositions have caught the attention of big names like guitar legend Tommy Emmanuel, with whom he has shared the stage, and super-producer Nile Rodgers (CHIC). At the young age of twenty-three, Shane has been a featured performer in some of Ireland's biggest music and arts festivals, including Culture Night at Dublin Castle (2017), Electric Picnic (2014 and 2017), Longitude (2014), and The Guitar Festival of Ireland (Headline Act, 2016).

John Walsh is Ireland’s leading Flamenco Guitarist. An accomplished musician and composer, John has been performing solo since 2006. Along with performing concerts throughout Ireland and venues in Spain and the UK, he has performed in one of the most historically important flamenco venue’s ,’El Candela’ in Madrid, as well as being the invited International Artist for the 2014 Flamenco Festival Flamenco de Consuegra. In 2015 he had the honour of being invited to play at the 2nd International Paco de Lucia Guitar festival, a major flamenco festival in honour of the great Paco de Lucia, in the maestro’s hometown of Algeciras
