Scottish Opera is seeking a personable, experienced and motivated fundraiser to be its Head of Individual Giving.

The Head of Individual Giving is a senior member of the Fundraising team who is personally responsible for generating substantial new income from major gifts, and who leads and supports a team to achieve the fundraising income targets from individual donors.

The successful candidate will have a track record of raising significant income from individuals and great team leadership skills. You will have knowledge of individual giving fundraising techniques and fundraising best practice, plus strong experience of motivating and managing others. You will be highly driven, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills and be creative in order to develop new funding ideas.

An interest in the arts and an understanding of an arts environment would be an advantage.

The position is based in Scottish Opera’s offices in central Glasgow.
