Brahms in the Afternoon: Finghin Collins, Katherine Hunka, Cian Ó Dúill & Christian Elliot @ Kilkenny Arts Festival
Finghin Collins joins forces with leading players from resident orchestra, the ICO, for a brace of lunchtime concerts exploring Brahms’ piano trios and quartets.
Though less famous than his orchestral pieces, the trios and quartets are among the composer’s greatest works, equal to any piano concerto in richness, drama and scale.
