Currently celebrating its 50th anniversary, the Orchestre de Paris is presenting a new opportunity for young string players worldwide looking to gain serious experience in an orchestral environment. In January 2019 the new Academy of the Orchestre de Paris is offering an innovative programme of practice performance and tutoring, opening new doors for tomorrow’s orchestral musician.
- 25 concerts at the Philharmonie de Paris
- Chamber music concerts
- Preparation of concert programmes with the principals of the Orchestre de Paris
- Coaching by orchestral members
- International tours
- Participation in outreach activities
- Workshops on time management, relaxation, posture and more
- Opportunity to learn about the administrative roles in an orchestra
- Salary: rank and file musician (category 4.0) short term contract
