Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy – The Willie Clancy Summer School – is a major traditional Irish music, song and dance event held annually in Miltown Malbay, County Clare, Ireland. 

The 43rd Summer School will take place between Saturday July 4th and Sunday July 12th 2015 with instrument and dance classes, lectures, workshops, recitals and céilithe all through the week.

2–6pm        Clárú. Registration at Community Centre,
8pm  Oscailt Oifigiúil (Official Opening) by Liam McNulty, former Secretary and Administrator of Na Píobairí Uilleann.
8.30pm       Breandán Breathnach Memorial Lecture: Reels to Reel: Irish traditional music in Hollywood and other films from the 1900s to the present. Dave Hegarty, piper, author and reseacher in traditional music.
9.30pm       Céilithe at Mill Marquee, GAA grounds, Miltown Malbay and Quilty Tavern,

10am          Aifreann i nGaeilge (Mass in Irish) at St Joseph’s Church, Miltown Malbay.
3.00pm       Musical Tribute at Willie Clancy’s Grave
7–9pm        Registration at Community Centre.
8pm  Éirinn is Alba. A concert celebrating the links between Gaelic Scotland and Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy agus á chraoladh beo ar RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta.

5–7pm        Banjo Recital at Mill Marquee, with Kieran Hanrahan, Joanne O’Connor, Theresa O’Grady, Muireann Banks, Keith O’Loughlin, Josh O’Loughlin, Brian Scahill, Adrian McAuliffe and guest performers.
8pm Uilleann Piping recital at Community Centre, with Ronan Browne, Sinead O’Halloran, Seán McKiernan, Denis O’Toole, Peadar Giles, Ciarán MacFheidhlimidh.

10am-1pm Classes and Workshops
2pm Lecture: Far from home but close to the floor: the Irish roots of American tap dance. An illustrated talk by Kieran Jordan, master teacher, performer and choreographer, and Kevin Doyle, master teacher, performer and choreographer.
4pm Button Accordion Recital at Community Centre, with Joe Burke, Jackie Daly, Anne Conroy, Charlie Harris, Breanndán Ó Beaglaíoch, Conor Keane, Josephine Marsh, Joe Searson, Colm Gannon, Johnny Connolly and guest performers.
8pm  Old-style step dancing, sean-nós dancing and set dancing exhibition at Community Centre, with Michael Tubridy, Brooks Academy, Mary Clancy, Paddy Neylon, Aidan Vaughan, Betty McCoy, Mick Mulkerrin, Mairéad Casey, Timmy McCarthy, Margaret Wray, Patrick O’Dea, Noel Devery, Kieran Jordan, Kevin Doyle and guest performers.

7pm Ceolchoirm Mhór. Grand concluding concert with leading traditional artists. Presented by Muireann Ní Dhuigneáin
