Events Coordinator, Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music
Plan and implement special events that meet Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music strategic goals including, but not limited to, conferences, boot camps, screenings, receptions, networking opportunities and alumni relations. Conceptualize themes, present ideas, research requests, assess feasibility, and make recommendations to ensure the implementation of successful, targeted events. Consult with Administrative Director on management of events. Research vendors, options, pricing structures, project expenses; determine staffing, space, and equipment needs; orchestrate publicity for all events; conduct post-event evaluations; recommend future improvements. Manage social media platforms and maintain news and events on the department website.
Required Experience:
3 years experience planning and implementing special events or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have knowledge of the music industry. Must include experience with managing budgets.
