The Artistic Administrator works with the Director of Artistic Planning to ensure that all concerts presented by the San Francisco Symphony are of the highest possible artistic standard.

The Artistic Administrator is responsible for the programming and administation of SoundBox; the Film Series; all summer programming, which includes a mix of classical and popular programming; holiday programming; special events, including Chinese New Year, Dia de los Muertos, and New Year’s Eve; and non-orchestral presentations. The Artistic Administrator also works with the Director of Artistic Planning to support Opening Night Gala, Spring Gala, winter season subscription programs, festivals, semi-staged operatic and theatrical productions, interdisciplinary projects, and other concerts.
