List of Cancelled Concerts Due to Weather

Events on Thursday and Friday cancelled.

The following notifications have been issued by venues and promoters regarding music and arts events in the coming days.

New Music Dublin
New Music Dublin has announced that all events scheduled for Thursday 1 March and Friday 2 March have been cancelled. Tickets will be refunded in the coming days. NMD will issue an update about remaining festival events (taking place Saturday 3 March and Sunday 4 March) on Friday morning 2 March.

Music Network
Music Network has announced that its concert with Anna Tsybuleva at St Ann’s Church on Thursday 1 March is cancelled. All other concerts on the tour are planned to go ahead, subject to local conditions. The Music Network office will be closed until Friday 2 March inclusive. All staff can be contacted by email during this time.

National Concert Hall
Concerts scheduled to take place on Thursday 1 March and Friday 2nd of March inclusive have been cancelled. The National Concert Hall building will remain closed during this time.

Chamber Choir Ireland
All concerts scheduled to take place on Friday 2 March have been cancelled. This includes the Composers in the Classroom Gala Concert at 2pm in the NCH and Stabat Mater at 8pm in St Ann’s Church, scheduled as part of New Music Dublin Festival. Tickets will be refunded by New Music Dublin in the coming days.

Sirius Arts Centre
Sirius Arts Centre will be closed this Thursday and Friday. As a result, Thursday’s launch of This Must Be The Place with Fangango Duo is cancelled. Also Christina Kennedy’s talk ’Re-introducing Patrick Ireland’ at the Crawford Art Gallery has been postponed until further notice. Softday’s Sounds of the Unthinkable event which was due to take place on Saturday (with public rehearsals on Friday), will be rescheduled to take place on Saturday 7 April (with public rehearsals on Friday 6 April).
