Bell X1 Announce Acoustic Tour

The Irish band mark the release of Field Recordings with an acoustic tour of arts centres and small venues.

Bell X1’s debut album Neither Am I was released in 2000, and since then they have released four studio albums, each to great acclaim. In 2010 they commemorated their first release with a mostly-acoustic tour of the US, performing songs from all five albums, returning their songs to their most basic forms. Many of the songs were recorded by the band’s engineer Phil Hayes, who also took photos of the places they visited. The result was released as Field Recording, a double-album of the songs and photography, released in July 2012.

The band are marking the release with an acoustic tour of Ireland from October to November that visits many of the smaller and more intimate venues around the country. Full dates are below. For more information, or to order a copy of Field Recordings, visit the band’s website.
