The Bottlenote Festival takes place in Dublin on 12 to 17 November, with performances of improvised music at Block T in Smithfield. This year’s festival includes performances from Roy Carroll, DJackulate, Shane Latimer, Seán Mac Erlaine, Shane O’Donovan, Justin Carroll, Sarah Buechi, Darragh O’Kelly, Ed Rosenberg III and Christian Skjødt.

Each concert presents three sets of music focussing on improvised music, often mixing acoustic instruments with live electronics.

Open rehearsals take place from 1pm to 2pm on 12 to 16 November — admission for these is free. Concerts are all at 8pm and tickets cost €10/8.
