The Conservatory of Music and Drama at the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) is holding an open day on Saturday, 3 March 2012. Held at the Conservatory’s Chatham Row premises from 11am to 3pm, the open day will feature a number of performances.
Guests will have the opportunity to try out various instruments, and teachers will be on hand to discuss any questions children or adults may have about their music education.
The Conservatory gives courses for all levels of music education, from age three to doctoral study and across the fields of performance, education and composition. Degrees offered by the Conservatory include Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music Education and a BA in Commercial Modern Music. The Conservatoire also offers a foundation level music course, which provides a stepping stone to third level music degrees.
