European Commission Festival Funding

The maximum available grant available in 2012/2013 is 100,000 euro or 60% of eligible costs, and the support can be granted for one edition of the festival. Only festivals having held at least five previous editions are eligible.

The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACA), which is the same branch of the European Commission responsible for administering ERASMUS study programmes, is offering funding support for festivals.

The aim of the funding strand 1.3.6 is to support festivals with a ‘European dimension’ and that contribute to the objectives of the EACA Culture Programme: mobility of professionals, circulation of works and intercultural dialogue.

The maximum available grant available in 2012/2013 is €100,000 or 60% of eligible costs, and the support can be granted for one edition of the festival. Only festivals having held at least five previous editions are eligible.

Earlier this year, the 12Points! festival, which was run by the IMC and held in the Project Arts Theatre, Dublin, was a recipient of EACA funding.

The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, 16 November 2011.
