A new service to aid the funding of creative projects in Ireland is in development. Fundit.ie, an initiative of the organisation Business to Arts, will enable people involved in the arts, media, food, science, technology and other industries to fund their projects using social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. Supported by a government Cultural Innovation grant, the site is expected to be launched in February 2011.
