The National Chamber Choir of Ireland is seeking an administrative intern for a period of nine months, working a thirty-five hour week. The position is unpaid but is offered as part of the JobBridge scheme, i.e. one can still receive social welfare payments, with the choir adding an allowance of €50 per week.
The intern will receive training in arts office administration, event planning (with up to eight performance projects), PR and marketing, box office and front of house operations. The choir is seeking people with ‘excellent IT, communication and administration skills, knowledge’ and and understanding of choral and/or classical music in Ireland. Applicants should have a third level music or arts administration qualification.
