Isotope at JJ Smyths

JJ Smyths is Dublin’s best known jazz and blues bar, and part of that renown comes from its weekly sessions with Istope, a five-piece who come together with occasional guests to play all styles of jazz standards, as well as some unusual cover nights. The Thursday night Isotope sessions, the longest-running jazz residency in Dublin, is set to come to a close with the band’s final gig this Thursday 7 June.

Isotope are:
Hugh Buckley, guitar
Richie Buckley, saxophone
Miles Drennan, piano
Damien Evans, bass
Shane O’Donovan, drums

Isotope will be joined by others on the night, playing a session of mainstream jazz. Tickets cost €8 and doors open at 9pm.
