National Youth Orchestra of Ireland Appoints New Manager

Carol-Ann McKenna has been appointed as the new General Manager of the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland.

The National Youth Orchestra of Ireland has appointed Carol-Ann McKenna as their new General Manager. McKenna, who is taking over from Zoe Keers, has previous experience in arts management roles at the National Concert Hall in Dublin, Interchange Studios in London and Opera 2005 in Cork. McKenna also studied voice at the Cork School of Music, and currently performs with the Dublin Bach Singers.

McKenna will start with the orchestra’s summer season of performances, which include concerts in Waterford on 20 July, Cork on the following day, and Dublin on 22 July at the National Concert Hall. The last concert will see the orchestra performing under the baton of Alan Buribayev, Principal Conductor of the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra.
