The DJ and filmmaker Donal Dineen will return to the airwaves on RTÉ Radio 2XM and 2FM, starting Friday, 26 October. Dineen is best known for his long-running radio show Small Hourse, which ended last year, as well as the his previous show on Radio Ireland, Here Comes the Night.
The new RTÉ show, titled Radio Activity is, unusually for Dineen, in a morning slot broadcasting from 10am to 1pm on RTÉ 2XM. The show will be repeated on RTÉ 2FM on Sundays at 10pm.
Over the course of eight shows, which will be presented live, Dineen will focus on music from Ireland, with in-studio performances from acts such as Jennifer Evans, This is How We Fly, TR One and Melodica Deathship, among many others.
