Ireland's National Music Day, love:live music, will take place on Friday, 8 April this year. Run by Music Network and now in its second year, the day will feature over 100 free music events nationwide.

Ireland’s National Music Day, love:live music, will take place on Friday, 8 April this year. Run by Music Network and now in its second year, the day will feature over 100 free music events nationwide. This year the organisers have added a new ‘Music in the Workplace’ programme, for which Irish or Ireland-based musicians are invited to submit proposals. Projects must take place in the Republic of Ireland on the day of love:live music, and must take place in a workplace environment. A maximum budget of €1,000 is available to cover the costs of each project, and performances must be made available free of charge.
