Something Old, Something New With Philip Lawson

Guitarist Philip Lawson will perform music by Dave Flynn, J.S. Bach, Toru Takemitsu, John Dowland and Astor Piazolla in Dublin on 29 June.

Classical guitarist Philip Lawson, recent graduate of the University of Ulster and contemporary music specialist, will perform three recent works by Irish composer Dave Flynn in the Kevin Barry Room of the National Concert Hall on 29 June at 8.30pm.

Gymno’Paddy Nos 1, 2 and 3 will feature alongside Flynn’s Two Minimalist Pieces: 5to9, Rainstorm. Lawson will also perform music by John Dowland, J.S. Bach, Astor Piazolla and Toru Takemitsu. 

Tickets cost €7 and €5, and are available at nch.ie.
