St. Patrick's College Drumcondra Searching for Resident Piano Trio

St. Patrick's College Drumcondra have issued a call for applications to be resident piano trio at the school, with closing date of 31 May.

The music department at St. Patrick’s College Drumcondra, a fully accredited linked college of Dublin City University and one of the major Colleges of Education in Ireland, is inviting applications from piano trios for its Artists-in-Residence scheme, which commences in September 2012.

Applicant ensembles should be of professional standing, with experience in recording and in leading compositional, performance adn community workshops. The ensemble would be based on campus full time for six to eight weeks each year, in addition to periods of research and planning. The successful applicants will receive €15,000 annually per musician, with an additional annual €3,500 for the leader of the ensemble.

The scheme is being jointly funded by St. Patrick’s College and the Arts Council.
