A new weekly jazz gig on a Thursday night is starting up as a continuation of the old Isotope residency begun twenty years ago or so by the late Noel Kelehan in JJ Smyths on Aungier Street, Dublin.
The new gig is called Chameleon, and the band members will be familiar to regulars of the Isotope gig down the years: Hugh Buckley on guitar, Shane O’Donovan on drums, Phil Ware on piano, and Neil O’Loghlen on bass. The starting plan is to have a different fifth musician to join the group each week.
Doors open at the earlier time of 8.30pm and tickets cost €8.
