Cork-based noise and performance artist Vicky Langan, a.k.a. Wölflinge, will perform live, host an exhibition of her work, and play records at the Galway Arts Centre on 19 May. Entitled ‘Judas Steer’, the day unites the various strands of Langan’s practice as a performing musician, curator (Langan runs the peerless Black Sun nights in Cork), and filmmaker, the last of which has seen her develop a fruitful partnership with experimental filmmaker Maximilian Le Cain.

In addition to the Wölflinge performance, four films will be screened, including a brand new work, whilst Langan will be, in her own words, ‘exhibiting a good few ‘relics’ of my past performances (messy ‘props’ etc)’. Additionally, Langan will close the event with a DJ set.
