The Dublin Fleadh is back in action, and this year it hopes to be bigger and better than ever!

Hosted by Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, the fleadh is Dublin's foremost annual traditional Irish music festival.

Featuring music & dancing competitions, Irish language events, Irish music sessions and a host of family friendly activities spread across two venues, the Dublin Fleadh will take place from 13th to 15th May in St. David's CBS, Artane, Dublin 5 and Clasac - Comhaltas Cultural Centre, Alfie Byrne Road, Dublin 3.

Competitions are open to all ages and include Solo, Duet and Trio performances of traditional Irish dance tunes; Solo Slow Airs; Gruṕaí Ceoil (Irish folk orchestra ensemble); Céilí Bands; Marching Bands; Sean Nós Singing; Comhrá Gaeilge; Céilí & Set Dancing; Composition; and more.

Members of Comhaltas should register fleadh entries through their local Comhaltas branch.

Entries for Grúpa Ceoil, Céilí Band and Marching Band competitions may be registered using the online entry system at www.dublinfleadh.com.

The Dublin Fleadh also welcomes entries from those who are not registered members of Comhaltas. Non-members can also register using the online entry system.

The closing date for all fleadh entries is Friday 1st April.
