Having missed it for two years we are just delighted to bring back our ever-popular Trad@Lunch series this summer, curated this year by a talented group of young local traditional musicians Ryan Sheridan, Sinead Johnston and Conor McDonagh.

Emma Benson hails from Keadue in Co.Roscommon and began learning the harp at the age of seven, under the guidance of Michael Rooney and has won numerous All-Ireland medals on the harp. She has won many prizes over the years at the prestigious O’Carolan Harp Festivals in Keadue and Nobber Harp Festival. She has received the Mícheál Ó hEidin medal in recognition of achieving distinction in her SCT Grade 8 exam. She also plays the concertina.

Micheál Fitzgibbon is a traditional musician from Co. Limerick. He is a multi-instrumentalist who plays an array of traditional instruments including the uilleann pipes, harp, flute, tin whistle, guitar and bouzouki. He has won many medals in the Fleadhanna Cheoil at both provincial and All-Ireland level across a range of instruments in both solo and group competitions. He was selected to tour Ireland and Britain with Comhaltas in 2019 and 2020.
