Opera North is currently seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join their team as a Stage Technician. The role entails working alongside a highly talented group of technical and production staff.

The primary responsibility of the Stage Technician will be to assist in the construction of sets for Opera North productions and execute scene changes during rehearsals and performances, both in the studios and during tours. The successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, ensuring that all tasks are performed with the utmost attention to safety, efficiency, and quality.

Key requirements for this position include a demonstrated track record of technical work with other theatre companies, proficiency in knotting and rigging, a strong aptitude for teamwork, and a positive attitude towards health and safety.

The selected candidate can expect to receive a competitive annual salary of £26,217.88, with the opportunity for additional compensation through scheduled or voluntary overtime.
