The Royal Academy of Music is hiring a Dean of Students.

A musician of the highest artistic understanding, the Dean will oversee the student experience from Primary Academy through to Postgraduate studies and manage the implementation of the Academy access and admissions strategies. Joining the Senior Management Team, the Dean will be an experienced individual with an outstanding record of leadership and delivery in higher education. The Dean will oversee all professional development activities. With responsibility for core learning resources, the Dean will also oversee one of the world’s greatest collections of musical instruments and library holdings of international significance.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience and understanding of the higher education sector in the UK. You will have experience of working effectively to deliver results to multiple stakeholders, along with diplomacy and engaging leadership skills. You will be a skilled communicator, committed to the advancement of widening access, and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues on developing outstanding musicians and performers of the future.
