Award winning clarinet player and composer Christopher Moriarty will peform with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra on November 28 in the atmospheric surrounds of the RDS Concert Hall. Gavin Maloney will conduct the musical programme of Mozart, Mendelssohn and Nielsen which will allow this rising star to display the full scope of his talent.

Tickets (online only) for this concert are €15, with a discounted rate of €10 for RDS Members, Senior Citizens and Students. This event is not suitable for children.

Christopher was awarded the 2018 RDS Jago Award which is one of the prizes in the annual RDS Music Bursary Programme. As part of this prize he is given the opportunity to perform with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra. The RDS provides an audience and a venue for talented young musicians to gain valuable performance experience. These concerts are part of the RDS arts work programme which provides a platform that supports the transition from student to emerging artist; encouraging the pursuit of a career in visual art, craft or music.
