ART OF ALGEBRA is the musical alias of David Hallinan, an Irish electronic producer who has recently released his self-titled debut album. Inspired by the beat-driven atmospherics of acts such as Boards of Canada, John Hopkins and Rival Consoles, Art of Algebra's self-titled debut blends elements of ambient electronica, trip hop and downtempo.

The Art of Algebra album launch will be held on Friday Feb 7th at 19:00 at Hen's Teeth, the Blackpitts Dublin 8, in conjunction with Optic Music. Vinyl copies of the album, which has been pressed on wax by Dublin Vinyl Company, will be available to buy on the night. The album is also available for sale on vinyl on bandcamp.

The live performance will include projections of Art of Algebra's animated visual display video sequences (sample below), which have been specially produced and curated by Hallinan to accompany his live performances.
