Head of Events & Guests, Outreach and Industry Liaison
BIMM in Birmingham is hiring a Head of Events & Guests, Outreach and Industry Liaison.
This wide-ranging role will include student recruitment, industry, guest and event liaison, student outreach work, marketing the college locally and nationally, organising and leading audition days, administration and delivery of outreach workshops and promoting Performers College at UCAS and associated events.
Essential Criteria:
• An extensive knowledge and background in theatre and the creative arts industry, performance, and training.
• Confident public speaker and excellent personal presentation
• Proven experience in managing people (either within a work, teaching or creative project context)
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written
• Proven customer service skills
• Able to work with set targets
• An ability to effectively manage a varied workload
• Advanced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) knowledge of UnitE or Banner is an advantage
• Able to work effectively in a standalone capacity or as part of a team
