WhistleBlast Quartet Composition Programme Final Performances 2018/19 Dublin

UNIQUE COMPOSITION OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNG IRISH STUDENTS NATIONWIDE

WhistleBlast Quartet's 2019 Composition Programme, including 100 plus innovative students all musical abilities and backgrounds, will culminate in three grand finale performances of a brand new work: The Greatest Challenge. Several months of creative and innovative composition workshops and live performances have led to these innovative nationwide concerts in Siamsa Tire,Tralee, Ballina Arts Centre, Ballina, Mayo and the National Concert Hall, Dublin. Students, including special needs groups near all these locations, have come together to create an uplifting and soul searching new musical composition. See www.whistleblastquartet.com for details. Funded by the Arts Council, Mayo Co Council, Blackshell Farm Ltd, RTE Supporting the Arts, all venues and contributions from schools involved. Performances: Siamsa Tíre: Monday 29 April. The National Concert Hall: Friday 3 May. Ballina Arts Centre: Friday 10 May. All shows at 6 pm.
