Wexford County Council wishes to announce a new artist bursary scheme as part of the Creative Ireland Programme 2017-2022. As part of Wexford’s 2020 Creative Ireland programme we invite applications from artists in all art forms based in County Wexford to apply for these bursaries.

These bursaries offer artists the opportunity to develop new bodies of work and consider how they will engage with the public in the final presentation of their work in 2020/2021.

The nominal amount to any one project will be between €4,000 and €5,000. A key aspect of this scheme is to foster new exciting and innovative projects that may not otherwise be realised.

We are now inviting applications from artists who will engage in the following themes:
– Well being
– Sense of place
– Heritage
