Mossie Martin Album Launch

Fiddle player Mossie Martin hails from Derrynacoosan near the village of Keadue in north Roscommon. His style is rooted in the North Connaught tradition and he has been performing and teaching traditional music for almost two decades. A tutor of the Traditional Irish Music PLC course based in Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim, he has also recorded with the Dartry Céilí Band, Lúnasa and Dervish.

For this special lunchtime performance, Mossie will be joined by bouzouki player Michael Holmes. A founding member of Dervish, Michael is a highly regarded accompanist and features on many traditional albums including ‘Sweetwood’ with flute player Liam Kelly. Join them as they play music from Mossie’s new album, The Humours of Derrynacoosan.
