BE THE SOLUTION Single (Digital Release) - CHILDREN OF DUB

Recorded in early 2020, this storming Drum n’ Bass track combines beats with Dub Reggae sensibilities and a vocal sample of Eldridge Cleaver taken from his speech (over an hour) at Berkley University, California in 1968, utilising his famous quote about being either part of the problem or part of the solution.

This seemed particularly pertinent for these times of change and uncertainty, with Cleaver as well as being a former leader of the Black Panther Party, he was an activist for all of humanity, advocating for creating a more compassionate, fair and equal future for everyone.

This track features on the forthcoming Children Of Dub compilation 'Evolution: 1993-2020' which is being released in November 2020 as a special edition gatefold double CD (also digital) with several previously unreleased tracks, 12” and album tracks, from various time periods, during their recording career - totalling 25 songs and 150 minutes of music.

With the various members and contributors scattered between Ireland, Croatia, England, New Zealand and beyond, this is the absolute final single and final album from Children Of Dub, this is the end, thank you for listening!

The accompanying video incorporated footage of Eldridge Cleaver, Extinction Rebellion, the Vietnam war protests and Iraq war protests.
