Birmingham Children’s Trust has launched a new Care Leaver Apprenticeship Programme.

Working within the Youth Offending Service, they are looking for the right person who has a passion for young people and making a change.

The Youth Offending Service are passionate about the difference their work makes to young people who offend, their families, courts, victims and the community. They aim to achieve positive outcomes for young people and co-operation with voluntary and statutory partners, families and communities in developing services and approaches that will increase the likelihood of success of the programme.

In the role, you will be a dependable and passionate apprentice, to help plan and deliver skill enhancing and music making activity-based programmes, providing appropriate interventions in accordance with national Standards, which promotes effective practice, the skills, abilities and self-esteem of the young person.

You will be responsible for face to face work, focused activities, and responsibility for facilitating Music making interventions, involvement in individual and group work with young people subject to pre-court disposals or Statutory Orders.
