The RTÉ Internship Programme 2020 has been created in line with our People Strategy to mirror the nation’s diversity.  This is an opportunity to be part of a group of interns from every background, who will work across a range of exciting projects and who will make a real and creative impact on our services.  Your talent will be recognised, encouraged and developed. The programme will initially involve internships in areas across the organisation including Content, News and Current Affairs, RTÉ Online and Commercial.

Who we are?
We are RTE Media Sales and we are responsible for delivering commercial funding to RTÉ through commercial partnerships with brands and agencies.  We are a highly skilled team of cross platform commercial sales professionals who trade across TV, Radio, Digital and Print platforms to Irish and International brands.

What you’ll be doing?
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Planning of RTÉ Commercial, this role involves supporting the sales team with analysis and insights to ensure all commercial opportunities are maximized. You will have the opportunity to do client research, analysis and reporting, understand the clients business, build presentations and collaborate with Agency Sales and Trading Leads amongst many other elements in the Commercial area.

This position will be offered from January to December 2020, with a salary of €25,080 per annum pro-rata.
