BBC Scotland is recruiting a Head of Audio and Events for a permanent, full-time position based in Glasgow.

The role involves leading the creative and editorial direction of BBC Radio Scotland’s linear and digital audio content, overseeing strategy, commissioning, content development and delivery across platforms. The successful candidate will manage teams producing multi-platform content, including music and cultural event coverage, and contribute to BBC Scotland’s senior leadership.

Applicants should have experience managing a radio station, a strong understanding of digital and linear audio content, and familiarity with Scotland’s music and cultural landscape. Leadership experience and knowledge of the broadcasting industry are essential. The post is graded at Senior Leadership level.
