Humanity Check - Built to Kill Single launch

Saturday, 17 June 2023, 7.00pm

D Metal Galaxy is back with events and what a better way to kick off our first this year's gig with something fresh, local and a band that will leave you in pieces at the end of the night - Humanity Check.

The band has been on a hiatus for a couple of years, but they are back more ferocious than ever before and are ready for an all out sonic assault. To catch up on those missed years, there is a concept album around the corner which revolves around one question: “Does the human race deserve to survive?” While exploring this question there will be no compromises made, instead Humanity Check will dive deep into our darkest desires and lay them bare to connect with you, the listener in a way you have never experienced and heard before.

The opener of the night will be Koma. They are travelling all the way from Belfast and will shake you up to the core with their melodic metalcore sound.

The second support band Puresonic Outcast are from Belfast too and they are looking forward to returning to Dundalk and giving you a very diverse set. According to the band their sound is fuzzed and distorted, slow, sometimes fast and always heavy and aggressive. What’s more Puresonic Outcast will slowly set the atmosphere preparing for the upcoming darkness that will hold you tight in a grip.

The next and last support band is no one else than Superstatic who are known for their unsettledness and evilness. They will definitely make you immerse in the music and hold in tight grip while you are bracing yourself for the darkness.

In short, 17th of June will be Humanity Check single release launch of Built to Kill and their comeback gig. On this night, your soul will be laid bare and step by step you will immerse the darkness and get a hint if “the human race deserve to survive?”.
