International Songwriting Retreat 2023

The International Songwriting Retreat, unique in Ireland, offers you the chance to explore and hone your songwriting skills, under the expert mentorship of our international team and will take place at the Irish Institute of Music and Song, Ireland’s only purpose-built music campus.

This course is for professional songwriters and serious amateurs who are working towards careers as songwriters and artists. By the end of the course, participants will have a greater understanding of a variety of styles of songwriting from some of the industry’s leading professionals, have built a network of like-minded songwriters and will have the opportunity to perform and record their songs in Ireland’s newest state-of-the-art concert hall, The Lark.

As well as our four mentors who will be resident with our participants for the week, special guests will present each evening, further adding to our participants’ experience of the wider music industry.

- Mentorship for the full 7 days from internationally-acclaimed songwriting mentors
- Access to practice rooms & rehearsal rooms at the IIMS Campus
- 7 nights accommodation in Japanese-Style Pods
- Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner for the duration of your stay from The La-La Cafe & Restaurant
- Tea & biscuits during the day
- Audio & video recordings from performances in The Lark Concert Hall of your own songs

COURSE FEES :

- €1,490 for full Course, Meals and Accommodation payable in installments
- Course-only option : €980 With this option, there will be an additional supplement to join the mentors and others for lunch and dinner each day at The La-La Café & Restaurant
