Dido and Aeneas - Louisburgh Voices

Louisburgh Music School presents Henry Purcell's opera 'Dido and Aeneas', with soloists and chorus of Louisburgh Voices, directed by Pauline Graham. This production, which will be the first opera to be performed in Louisburgh, features Louise Noble as Dido, Des Grealis as Aeneas, and Danielle Cox as The Spirit, with the Louisburgh Ensemble. The opera will be preceded by sonatas for flute and harpsichord by CPE Bach and Handel, performed by Julia Dickson (traverso) and Michael Quinn (harpsichord), and an introduction to Dido and Aeneas by Marilyn de Blieck.
