Staffordshire University is hiring a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Voice.

You will be joining the Drama Department team at a pivotal moment as we are able to consolidate all of our freelance vocal provision into a full-time Voice Lecturer post. As such this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the departmental approach to vocal work from the ground up across all three undergraduate years and growing post-graduate provision.

You must be able to teach voice and speech work to a high standard and be able to integrate a vocal coaching approach across productions for stage and screen. The ability to support other staff members (Directors & Lecturers) in understanding and embedding the department vocal approach will also be important.

An understanding of current approaches to actor training and rehearsal, progressing from the Russian tradition, and the means to align vocal work within such training is advantageous.
