About the Workshop: Discover innovative approaches to making music accessible to d/Deaf young music students in your school or community. This engaging workshop is led by Ruth Montgomery, founder of Audiovisability. Audiovisability specialises in creating inclusive and accessible learning environments for Deaf children, artists, and communities in the UK and internationally.
What you will experience:

Gain a greater understanding of how d/Deaf experiences and perceives music.
Explore assumptions, challenges, and opportunities in music accessibility.
Increase communication awareness in the musical class or ensemble.

Differences between group/classroom teaching and one-to-one approaches.
Led by Audiovisability Founder and Deaf Musician Ruth Montgomery (UK) in partnership with Gráinne Hope, Artistic Director and Founder of Music & Health Ireland.
