The Arts Council and University of Galway are inviting applications for the Writer-in-Residence programme for 2025.

This opportunity is open to mid-career and established writers in prose fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction, and children’s literature. The successful applicant will receive a fee of €30,000, with €20,000 funded by the Arts Council and €10,000 by the university.
