Closing Concert—ChamberFest Dublin 2019
The Royal Irish Academy of Music is delighted to present the inaugural ChamberFest Dublin (Monday - Friday 13th December) helmed by RIAM Head of Strings and Chamber Music Sarah Sew.
The fortnight full of events—from public masterclasses to lunchtime and evening concerts in venues such as The Space Between, Lost Lane, the National Gallery, and the beautiful Georgian rooms of the Academy itself—will celebrate the sheer breadth and diversity of Chamber Music repertoire, with RIAM musicians performing a rich palette of works by composers from Bach to Beamish and everything in between.
The closing concert of ChamberFest Dublin 2019 will feature:
Tiffany Qiu: Sinking Water
Piazzolla: Primavera Porteña from The Four Season of Buenos Aires arr. Bragato for Piano Trio
Stephen McNeff: Allegro from Cello Sonata (Falling Man)
Franck: Sonata for Violin and Piano in A major
Performers: David Andreu (violin) Alfonso Sanchez Perez (piano), Davide Forti (cello), Francesca de Nardi (piano/violin) and Kah Mun Ong (piano)
