Ensemble Interforma Concert—ChamberFest Dublin 2019
The Royal Irish Academy of Music is delighted to present the inaugural ChamberFest Dublin (Monday - Friday 13th December) helmed by RIAM Head of Strings and Chamber Music Sarah Sew.
The fortnight full of events—from public masterclasses to lunchtime and evening concerts in venues such as The Space Between, Lost Lane, the National Gallery, and the beautiful Georgian rooms of the Academy itself—will celebrate the sheer breadth and diversity of Chamber Music repertoire, with RIAM musicians performing a rich palette of works by composers from Bach to Beamish and everything in between.
This evening concert will feature:
Schubert: Overture in C minor D8
Sally Beamish: Spinal Chords for Speaker and Strings
Wagner: Siegfried Idyll for 13 instruments WWV103
Performed by the exhilarating new group Ensemble Interforma, Sarah Sew (violin/director), Sally Beamish (narrator)
Admission to many of the events on the ChamberFest Dublin 2019 Programme is free of charge, and all can be booked at the box office below.
