Pianist Gary Beecher and tenor Gavan Ring perform an evening of opera, song and seasonal favourites

Two stand out musicians come together for this special pre-Christmas concert. As many people will look forward to 2020 drawing to a close, this will be an uplifting concert. Gary Beecher last performed in Drogheda during Tara Erraught’s weekend Celebrating the Voice and although Gavan Ring is a familiar voice to local audiences, his last visit to St Peter’s Church of Ireland was as a baritone. Gavan has very successfully made the vocal transition to tenor and is gaining lots of critical acclaim and recently described by Opera Magazine as “The agility of a gymnast and the vocal command of a sergeant major“.

Enjoy well known arias such as Puccini's E lucevan le stelle (Tosca), Quilter's Go Lovely Rose, Schubert's Ave Maria and Leoncavallo's Mattinata.

The concert will be approximately 1 hour in duration, without an interval
